WEEK 2: "Farm"

Summer Camp = Week two!!
What better way to conclude "Farm Fun" week than with a visit to the farm to enjoy some time in nature! The kids had the opportunity to prepare seeds, plant them, and water the soil. We're hoping the plants will grow and help make the farm even greener! Nature + Animals + Water = Happy Kids.

WEEK 5: "Space Expedition"

Our "Space Expedition" week got off with an exciting start! We surprised our campers with a special activity where they had the chance to meet and play basketball with a professional basketballer Beto Gomes.  And we rounded off the week with an exciting 'glow-in-the-dark experiment'. We showed them what it's like and took it a step further by turning this activity into a creative session where the kids made their own unique art pieces with the paint, and watched them come to life under black light. They learned three different ways to create glow-in-the-dark paint: buying it from the store, using phosphorescent powder, or extracting it from highlighters! The kids had an absolute blast and can't wait to show their parents their glowing masterpieces!

WEEK 6: "Celebrating Real-Life Superheroes"

Week 6 was all about "Superheroes." While we all admire comic book heroes like Superman, Iron Man, and Batman, this week we shifted the focus to the real-life superheroes who impact our lives every day. Whether it's the guidance of  Our Lord Jesus, the unconditional love of parents, or the dedication of doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, farmers, soldiers, and teachers, these individuals play vital roles in our communities. To show their appreciation, each camper created a drawing or wrote a heartfelt message, which they personally delivered to these everyday heroes. It’s crucial that we teach children to recognize and value the contributions of those who work tirelessly to create a better, safer, and healthier society for us all.

Lastly we rounded off 2024 summer Camp with a closing Ceremony, organized with great enthusiasm and care. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event truly memorable. This achievement is a testament to the combined efforts of our talented campers, supportive parents, and dedicated teachers. Over the six weeks, the camp provided students with valuable opportunities to discover and develop their skills and talents, both known and hidden. Every student participated with enthusiasm, and their excitement was evident throughout the event. The presentations showcased a diverse range of performances, including a humorous clown orchestra, lively dances, Mozart-inspired body percussion, and a special skit created by our older campers. We also had an impressive Arts and Engineering exhibition, highlighting the creativity and ingenuity of our campers. Each student was honored with prizes that recognized the unique skills they displayed during the camp.
