August 2024

We surprised our campers with a special activity where they had the chance to meet and play basketball with Beto Gomes. Beto, Co-founder and Board Director of AMINGA YSDP, was born in Fogo and grew up in São Vicente. With over 20 years of professional basketball experience across various European leagues and teams, and more than a decade representing the Portuguese National Basketball Team, he currently plays for S.L. Benfica and the CABO VERDE National Basketball Team.

The kids had a blast engaging in the games, gaining a fresh perspective on the sport.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Aminga: Youth Sports Development Program for arranging this fantastic activity and giving our kids the opportunity to explore basketball in a new way.

Learning about other CULTURES can be such a REMARKABLE experience! A fantastic way to do so is through interchange activities!!! Our students had a memorable time with the students from #classafloat at #quintinia !! Although they aren´t able to travel such interchange activities gives them a taste of what it´s like to live in another country or in this case to study on board of a ship that travels around the world
Myrtle students had the chance to experiment a variety of activities that enhanced their creativity and knowledge! We always look forward to such opportunities and partnerships as the one we have with QUINTINIA!! Thank you so much for providing our students this Out-Of-This-World Experiences!! TO BE CONTINUED…
