At Myrtle learning Centre, we believe that learners come first. We want our students to enjoy learning, make good progress, and achieve high standards.

 To do this, we ensure that Myrtle Atividades Educativas provides first class teaching facilities, so as to offer real choice, good access, and the best environment in which to learn. This is in keeping with our promise to offer Mindelo Island a thorough educational opportunity through a collaborative commitment of our staff and with the effective use of digital learning tools in classrooms we help students build the skills they need in pursuit for academic excellence.

Put simply, We want to ensure that we are amongst the best available and offer the right number of academic tools at the time they are needed. As part of this strategic vision we established a learning center in December 2020 that is currently providing a strong language and after-school tutoring program designed for teachers to give individual attention to the students, using methods that helps encourage students to engage with their regular school topics at a deeper level, because unlike regular school teachers we are not just preparing them for exams, but creating a better understanding of the subject and preparing them for more challenging tasks at school, be it our tutoring or language programs or the co-curricular activities we offer.
