WEEK 6: "Contemporary Africa"

Week 6 was a wonderful celebration of Contemporary Africa, exploring the creativity, innovation and diversity that shape Africa today. Campers discovered how modern Africa is evolving through technology, music, fashion, arts, and everyday life. Through fun and interactive activities, they explored new ideas, celebrated African creativity, and learned about the people and innovations helping to shape the continent’s future. A special part of Week 6 was the time dedicated to preparing for our Summer Camp Closing Ceremony. Campers worked together to rehearse performances, prepare creative presentations, and get everything ready to celebrate the incredible journey we shared throughout the summer.

Lastly we rounded off 2026 with a closing ceremony organized with great enthusiasm and care. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event truly memorable. This achievement is a testament to the combined efforts of our talented campers, supportive parents, and dedicated teachers. Over the six weeks, the camp provided students with valuable opportunities to discover and develop their skills and talents, both known and hidden. Every student participated with enthusiasm, and their excitement was evident throughout the event. The presentations showcased a diverse range of performances, including a set of humorous clowns, lively dances, and a special ballet created by an older camper. We also had an impressive Arts exhibition, highlighting the creativity and ingenuity of our campers. Each student was honored with prizes that recognized the unique skills they displayed during the camp.
